Re: Flight Factor Airbus Panels not working for me.

Hi Most of the datarefs used by this panel are specific to Flight Factor A320 and are not made available by default by Flight Factor. As Ralph (and the instrument Info Box) said, you have to edit (with Notepad or the like) the publish.txt file located in your FFA320 installation folder, and add a bu...

Re: not detecting instrument panel

Hmmm. Sounds like you told Windows to “Clone” the display, not to “extend” the display on your second monitor. You have two identical displays right now, same icons same desktop, correct? Please go the Windows control panel, display section, and make sure that the desktop is set to “Extended” not “D...

Re: Rotate() animation parameters “SLOWEST” & “FASTEST” same behavior?

Corjan Okay thanks. The script I published here https://siminnovations.com/forums/viewtopic.php? was showing that bug on the standard v4.02, so might well be that the beta has solved the problem. Thanks for the answer about the z_anchor, that’s what I suspected. Even if not relevant, third paramete...

Re: Test light boutons

Actually there is one indicator, at least for the A320:
A PULL UP/GPWS Korry anunciator on the side panel of each pilot, coordinated with an aural message.

@jph Good one! Was related to « visually comes on screen »?

Re: Test light boutons

GPWS Confirmed. It’s related to a parameter in the cockpit.cfg definition file of the aircraft, and per aircraft based. This config file is optional though, so the variable might not work with some addons aircraft if improperly implemented for MSFS. https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/index.htm#t=...

Re: Test light boutons

Even Better they have added warning variables in MSFS: https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/index.htm#t=Programming_Tools%2FSimVars%2FAircraft_SimVars%2FAircraft_System_Variables.htm Warning Variables Simulation Variable Description Units Settable WARNING FUEL This is the current state of the fuel ...

Hi. Just check here for the relevant MSFS variable: https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Programming_Tools/SimVars/Aircraft_SimVars/Aircraft_Electrics_Variables.htm and here: https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/index.htm#t=Programming_Tools%2FSimVars%2FAircraft_SimVars%2FAircraft_Fuel_Variables.h...

Re: Instrument fade in and test

if you want a slightly more complex one, you can set the opacity values in a table for fine tuning, as the opacity level seems not to be that linear, and a screen startup sequence is not linear either Here I chose to have 10 opacity steps that seems sufficient to emulate a screen lighting up (with a...

Re: Bezel for GTN 650

The GTN 650 bezel is simply a reduced size of the GTN 750 bezel. The buttons and functions are exactly the same, with a different position for the DIR TO and Dial.* So instead of reinventing the wheel, this is a three step procedure. 1-Create a clone of the GTN 750 instrument and rename it GTN 650 2...

Re: Rotate animation parameters “SLOWEST” & “FASTEST” same behavior?

I found out that when the first rotation angle is negative (ie -90), the subsequent rotation works reversed, ie the "slowest" path is not used, when the new angle is positive in the range (0/abs(previous angle)). It's probably related to the starting angle being negative. my_canvas = canvas_add(0, 0...
